Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using slidevite ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account or use the Service. By using slidevite, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

3. Description of Service

slidevite provides a platform for creating, hosting, and sharing digital invitation pages. Users can upload content (text, images, event details) to create mobile-friendly invitations accessible via a unique URL.

4. User Accounts

To create an invitation, you must provide a login ID and password. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.
  • All activities that occur under your account.
  • Ensuring your contact information remains accurate.

5. Acceptable Use & Conduct

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You are prohibited from using slidevite to:

  • Upload content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, or promotes hate speech.
  • Spam or Harassment: Send unsolicited invitation links or use the Service to stalk or harass others.
  • Infringe upon the intellectual property or privacy rights of any third party.
  • Distribute malware, viruses, or any code of a destructive nature.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer or gain unauthorized access to our systems.

6. Content Ownership & Licenses

Your Content: You retain full ownership of any text, images, or data you upload ("User Content").

Our License: By uploading content, you grant slidevite a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service (e.g., making your invitation visible to your guests).

Copyright Infringement: We respect intellectual property. If you believe any content on slidevite infringes your copyright, please contact us at contact@slidevite.com.

7. Payment & Refunds

Certain invitations require payment to activate for a selected duration.

Duration & Expiration: When an invitation is activated, it remains publicly accessible until the end of the purchased period. After expiration, the invitation is no longer publicly accessible. Hosts may extend/reactivate an invitation within 48 hours after expiration. After that 48-hour window, the invitation (including associated RSVP data and uploaded images) may be permanently deleted.

Processing: All payments are handled by our third-party provider, Paddle. By purchasing, you agree to Paddle's terms.

Refunds: Please refer to our Refund Policy for details on refund eligibility and the refund request process.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless slidevite and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or legal fees arising out of your User Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that your invitation pages will be available 100% of the time. Use of the Service is at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, slidevite shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including loss of data or event disruptions) resulting from your use or inability to use the Service.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, we may delete your hosted invitation pages and account data.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action must be brought in the courts located in Seoul, Republic of Korea.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
