1. Introduction
slidevite ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting the privacy of both our Users (those who create invitations) and Guests (those who view and RSVP to invitations).
2. Information We Collect
Information Provided by Users (Hosts)
- Account Information: Login ID, password, and email address.
- Invitation Content: Event details, venue locations, dates, and any images or media you upload to your invitation page.
Information Provided by Guests (Invitees)
- RSVP Data: Names, attendance status, phone numbers, and any custom messages submitted through a slidevite RSVP form.
Information Collected Automatically
- Security Data: IP addresses (and basic browser/device information) used strictly for rate-limiting (to prevent spam) and security monitoring.
- Usage Data: Aggregated, non-identifiable data to help us understand how the Service is used.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information to:
- Provide, host, and maintain your invitation pages.
- Facilitate the RSVP process between Guests and Hosts.
- Process payments via our third-party provider, Paddle.
- Send transactional emails (e.g., password resets or payment receipts).
- Prevent fraudulent use of our platform.
4. Data Ownership & Sharing
We do not sell your data or your guests' data to third parties.
- Service Providers: We share data with Paddle (payments) and our email service provider only as needed to run the Service.
- Host Access: Hosts have full access to the RSVP data provided by their guests. slidevite acts as a "Data Processor" for this guest information.
5. Data Retention
- Invitations: We retain your data as long as your invitation is active.
- Expiration: After an invitation expires, it may be retained for up to 48 hours to allow reactivation/extension. After that window, the invitation and associated data (including RSVPs and uploaded images) may be permanently deleted.
- Cleanup: Unpaid or draft invitations may be automatically deleted after 48 hours (2 days) to minimize data storage.
- Deletion: When a Host deletes an invitation, all associated RSVP data is permanently purged from our active databases.
6. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to, and maintained on, servers located outside of your state or country. By using slidevite, you consent to this transfer.
7. Your Rights
- Users: You may access, export, or delete your invitation data at any time via the manage page.
- Guests: If you have submitted an RSVP and wish to have your data removed or corrected, please contact the Event Host directly or email us at contact@slidevite.com.
8. Cookies
We use only essential cookies to keep you logged in and to remember your session. We do not use third-party tracking, advertising, or marketing cookies.
